Welcome to Downley Dynamos JFC
Our Club has come a long way since its inception in 1994 and now boasts nearly 400 boys and girls aged from 4 to 17, both training on Saturday mornings and playing matches on Sundays.
I joined the club back in 2008 when my eldest son started to play. Like many parents, I began by running after a few stray balls during a game and before long I was helping out at training. Clubs such as ours would not survive without the volunteers who give up their valuable time, not only to manage and coach the youngsters, but also to help with the day-to-day running of the Club. They provide refreshments in the Pavilions on Downley Common and The Pedestal in West Wycombe, and running the Club Shop on a Saturday morning.
We're always on the lookout for more volunteers to help so please don't be shy in coming forward to offer your services at either of our venues. We promote a "football for all" ethos and pride ourselves on providing a safe and fun environment for the children to enjoy their football.
We encourage our Coaches to complete an affiliated FA coaching course which includes Child Welfare and First Aid modules, and everyone involved with the Club is DBS checked through the FA.
You can contact anyone within the Club, including myself through our “Who's Who” page on this website and to keep up to date with what's happening within the Club keep checking the News & Events page and why not visit our Facebook page.
Finally, I would like to wish all members of the Club, both new and not so new, an enjoyable and successful time with the Downley Dynamos.
